Getting a head start

Here we are in mid February, the 12th to be exact. I am like most others this time of year, ready for spring. I am going to get a little bit of a head start with my Morning Glories.

Ideally, I would like them filling up my back fence with red, white and blue flowers.

However, I have been unable to find a white morning glory, in the past I have used the white Moon Flower, but it opens in the evening and the morning glories are, like their name implies, a morning flower. So this year I decided to settle for the white morning glory with its little purple veins coming out from the center.

I have been soaking the seeds for the past day and a half now.
Some have started to open a bit.

So now here the little dears are all nestled in nice and cozy like.

Left to right, there are 2 rows of blue, 2 of red and finally 2 of white.
