This Year Kathy and Rocky had the feast at their house, over in Prosser WA. Their son Derrick and his wife Sinead were on hand, everyone is very proud and excited for Derrick as he recently realized a lifelong dream by graduating from PJ training .
Rocky was the head chef for this years feast of duck and turkey.
The Duck was done to picture perfect perfection and delicious.
Derrick's training came in handy for the carving of the duck.
Ted took on the turkey
with help from Kathy.
There were sweet potatoes and yams
Squashes
An excellent dressing
A tasty gravy
which Rocky carefully tended to
But such a feast would not be complete
without skillfully prepared, to perfection, mashed potatoes!!
As if all that were not enough, there were homemade pies galore. Fresh from the oven, Pecan.
There was also a sweet cherry pie made with cherries picked from their own cherry trees. A blue Berry pie, Sinead made a cheese cake and we brought a pumkin pie.
So now the feast was prepared and we were ready to enjoy the wonderful food and friendship.A Big thank you to Rocky for a job well done!! And to both Kathy and Rocky for having us over.
